I know the universe is drawing positive energy towards me whenever I talk to Pam. When I first talked to her about Nathan’s Son-Rise Program for autism, she told me, “I volunteered because I believe in miracles.”

During yesterday’s feedback session, she said that she never holds grudges on people and she believes that everyone does things for good reasons/intentions…That is so Son-Rise! True enough, all good relationships are built on non-judgmental understanding of each other. The same holds true for relationships with special-needs kids. Despite the child’s tantrums, shouting, self-injurious actions, ignoring your presence, rude responses, etc. , they do not do those things to intentionally annoy you. They have their own reasons and it’s always done with good intentions. The trick to understanding their intention is to come with a non-judgmental attitude.
